Linda Johansen
As a second generation San Franciscan, Linda grew up in one of the most
photographed areas in the world. At a young age, influenced by her brother,
she developed a life-long passion for photography. Over the years, she has
displayed her photos many times, winning prizes and acclaim for her perceptive
style.
Although Linda’s career path led her into an office position, she always enjoyed taking night classes in photography. She couldn’t quite grasp the digital camera era, until it was combined with the SLR. "This invention combined the best of both worlds..." she stated, as she dove into learning all she could about her first (and only) SLR digital camera, her Nikon D80.
Linda continues to work in downtown San Francisco. She resides in the North Bay with her husband Charles. They will celebrate their 30th anniversary in June, 2010. Linda and Charles are the parents of twins, Stefanie and Andrew. They have two beautifull granddaughters, Nevaeh and Giavanna.
